View Staff PageThe CARES Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 that is dedicated to research and training in the field of autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. The CARES foundation has provided an environment for graduate students to conduct research on autism and neurodevelopmental disorders. This work has generally been in the service of doctoral dissertation research which has led to publications in professional journals. This work has all been unfunded or supported in part by work-study funds of the student's university.
CARES is dedicated to training professionals to work with neurodevelopmental disorders and has organized continuing education conferences that relate to various topics in the field, such as teaching strategies, research, ethics and behavior management.
