View Staff PageCARES, Inc. provides a variety of psychological, behavioral and psychiatric outpatient services through a collaborative intraagency integrative care model. CARES clinical outpatient services make it possible for patients and their families to receive high quality evidence-based therapies and interventions directed toward specific needs while also being capable of fully addressing the range of unique clinical problems each individual and family may require.
The array of clinical out-patient services provided by CARES includes interventions that that can be provided to toddlers, young children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. While we specialize in offering clinical therapies and interventions to persons who may have an autism spectrum disorder or their families, we also deliver outpatient service to persons with other neurodevelopmental disorders or their families when there are significant problems associated with maladaptive behaviors, mood dysregulation, social and interpersonal impairments, executive dysfunction, attention and learning impairments.
Specific modalities of intervention include individual, family, couples, group and home-based consultation and intervention. Specific out-patient therapies include: applied behavior analysis (individual and parent training), cognitive behavior therapy (for anxiety, depression, phobia and impulse control), dialectical behavior therapy (including individual skill training and parent skill training), psychodynamic therapy, play therapy, medication consultation and management, speech and language consultation.
CARES also provides comprehensive clinical assessments for the purpose of differential diagnosis and treatment planning. These include: psychological assessment, neuropsychological assessment, psychoeducational assessment, behavior analytic assessment (Functional Behavior Analysis and Functional Behavior Assessment and psychiatric assessment.
