View Staff PageCARES offers home and school based programs with direct service staff and supervision by masters and doctoral level individuals. We offer individualized services and parent training in the home. We offer direct service, educational evaluations, staff trainings and behavior consultation in the classroom and at the request of the districts. CARES is a vendor with San Diego, Orange and Inland Regional Centers, various school districts, Tricare Insurance and Anthem Blue Cross.
In our offices, we offer our Little Builders play group for children 3-7, our UCLA Children's Friendship Training group for children ages 8-12 and our UCLA PEERS group for ages 13-17. Each group has a parent training component and offers social skills training for every age range. CFT and PEERS are based on the UCLA model of social skills training. CARES also offers individual and family therapy based in cognitive behavior therapy.
Recently approved by Anthem Blue Cross is the CARES Intensive Outpatient Program for children ages 2-7 and 12-17. These intensive therapy programs must be physician referred and take place in the CARES offices for up to 9 hours/week.
